A simple project of 2 display areas for information to parked drivers. The LED boards are independent of each other or can be cloned, depending on the number of trucks in front of the entrance to the Slovalco aluminium plant. The project included the placement of 2 eLitevision P10 outdoor LED display boards measuring 3.84 m x 1.92 m, frame and rack fabrication, sub switchboards, 2x Advantech passive PCs, laying of fibre optic routes, punching under the tarmac road, excavation of pathways along the car park to final soil alignment and grass seeding.

 

A simple project on the face of it, however, under the strict supervision of the Aluminium Works safety team, where the strictest H&S rules must be adhered to, even at the boundaries of the site.

 

The project has been very well received by the IT team, as has the service support for the customer's software deployment and the regular 6 monthly checking and cleaning of all electronics.
